BBB Honors Maryland Companies for Building Trust
On Tuesday, November 2nd, 2016, the Better Business Bureau serving Greater Maryland celebrated this year's recipients of its Torch Awards for Ethics. The organizations were recognized as part of BBB's annual Pillars of Trust at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.
On Tuesday, November 2nd, Better Business Bureau serving Greater Maryland celebrated this year's recipients of its Torch Awards for Ethics. The organizations were recognized as part of BBB's annual Pillars of Trust at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.Winners of the Torch Awards for Ethics included Complete Home Solutions, Lothian, Md., Plumb Construction Company, Jarrettsville, Md., and Radebaugh Florist and Greenhouses, Towson, Md. Finalists for the prestigious award were Carney Tire, Baltimore, Md. and Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing of MD, Columbia, Md. Business leaders, including members of BBB's board of directors attended the evening affair, which featured a keynote presentation by Austin, Tex. author and entrepreneur, Justin Foster.
"Through a competitive and intense application process, these recipients provided insight into how an organization makes strategic, intentional and daily decisions to sew ethics into the fabric of its operation," said Angie Barnett, president and CEO, BBB serving Greater Maryland. "Each provided detailed descriptions and evidence of character in relationships with employees, customers, suppliers and their community."
