Crawl Space Encapsulation in Dunkirk, MD

Delores notice that the living room and kitchen floors in her Dunkirk home were extremely cold during the winter months. She had always assumed that their was no way to the temperatures of her floors since they sat over a crawl space, that was until she heard from a neighbor about the improvements we had made to their crawl space.  After a FREE estimate from one of our trained Home Comfort Specialist, a full crawl space encapsulation was  recommended to fix her comfort issues. On the day of the install our Home Comfort Technicians began by removing all of the old vapor barrier from the crawl space and laying in our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which keeps moisture and pest from entering the crawl space from the ground up. The next step was sealing all of the external walls with spray foam, this process closes all the vents that allow air to move into the crawl as well as insulating the area. Our final step is installing a dehumidifier to regulate the humidity in the crawl to a consistent 50-55%.

Delores noticed an immediate difference in the temperatures of her floors, which turned into more comfortable temperatures throughout the first floor.
