The Before
When the crews arrived, this is how the cantilever looks. In order to access the cantilever, we need to remove the vinyl siding.
Prep Work
With the siding removed and the cantilever accessed, we prep the area by using plastic to cover the siding of the house so that we can keep the siding clean.
Insulation Removed and Cantilever Blocked
With the insulation removed, the next step is to block off each bay so that we can spray and seal every area that would be exposed to the outside air.
Spray Foam Applied
We spray foam around 2-3 inches within each bay on any surface air could seep into.
Reinstallation of the Vinyl Siding
With the cantilever blocked off and sealed, the final step is to put the siding back on and clean up the plastic. Job complete!
