Peter's crawl space was nothing short of nasty. On the day of the installation, our Home Comfort Technicians began by removing all of the old batt insulation from the floor joist above, before laying down our 20mill CleanSpace vapor barrier, which when bolted to the wall creates a seal on the ground of the crawls space, making sure moisture and critters can not make their way in from below. They then sprayed the area with our 2 part closed cell spray foam insulation on all of the exterior walls. The final step to this encapsulation was to install a dehumidifier which was set to a consistent 50-55% humidity. Peter noticed an immediate difference in the floor temperature of his home and can't wait to see the difference as the weather outside begins to change.
