Crawl Space Insulation Before & After Photos

These homeowners had an addition added on to their house some time ago. In creating that addition, a crawl space  was formed. This crawl space was somewhat insulated, but the homeowners still felt cold air and moisture coming from it. They called Complete Home Solutions to find a fix to their problem.

After looking at the crawl space, and the house as a whole, we decided that the best solution for these homeowners was to encapsulate the crawl space.  This involved air sealing  and insulating the walls with spray foam insulation  and installing a vapor barrier along the floor. In doing this, we were able to keep the cold air and moisture from infiltrating the crawl space and ultimately the living space. The end result is a much more comfortable home for this couple.
